Front-end Web Developer

VERB Interactive is in search of an innovative Web Developer who can translate strategy and goals into unique and effective Web user experiences. The candidate should be forward thinking, hard working, positive and innovative. Positive attitude and willingness to push the envelope is a must!

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent visual and functional design of Web sites and Web applications
• Meet client needs and expectations
• Understand and/or help establish the requirements and approach to Web projects
• Develop HTML and CSS Web sites
• Work with PHP and MySQL

Recommended Experience:

• A degree from a recognized IT and/or design school or college
• Strong HTML and CSS coding skills required
• Strong JavaScript, PHP and MySQL considered an asset
• Experience working with CMS systems (Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress)
• Comfortable using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, & Dreamweaver
• Solid understanding of best practices related to Web usability, and Web user experience
• Experience with information architecture, navigation and interactivity
• Must be familiar with usability issues and informal testing
• Well organized and pays attention to detail
• Experienced in collaborating with other creative *and technical people
• Creative thinking and exploration on large and small projects
• Able to work under tight deadlines
• Exceptional portfolio of Web development projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
