Web Copywriter

VERB is currently looking to make additions to our team of talent copywriters to help our clients communicate with different audiences during different situations. The copywriter needs to be able to step into the shoes of our clients to understand their world, then turn around and jump into the shoes of the clients’ customer base to craft the right messages, including:

  • Start-to-finish Web sites
  • Email marketing pieces and headlines
  • Online and mobile display advertising
  • Search engine marketing
  • Audio or video based scripts
  • Brochures and posters
  • Press releases

The ability to exercise different writings styles and tones is essential, with a spin for Web/digital to convey information and persuade a desired action. Strong vocabulary and solid grammar is a must. Bilingualism is significant plus, but not essential.

What will you need to be able to do?

  • Brainstorm ideas and concepts with our creative and management team
  • Discuss client requirements and strategize
  • Write original, persuasive copy
  • Work closely project leaders and account managers to determine and execute client objectives
  • Communicate and liaise with project team members, clients and vendors to ensure success every time
  • Revise or edit peer and client materials, present your own feedback and be able to accept/give direction
  • Proofreading and editing of your works as well as team members
  • Effectively manage your time and resources across multiple initiatives and tight timelines
  • Stay on top of trends in the market and the industry – it’s essential to be in touch
