Search Engine Marketing Analyst

VERB is currently looking for a Search Engine Marketing Analyst.  The Marketing Analyst is responsible for carrying out search engine marketing activities to help achieve client goals and objectives throughout campaigns. The Marketing Analyst must be enthusiastic, detail-oriented, hardworking professional able to successfully perform search engine marketing activities for VERB Interactive clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform search engine marketing activities including, but not limited to, website analysis, organic search engine optimization, keyword research, Web site copywriting and page analysis.
  • Writing client reports on a regular basis
  • Ability to customize projects and perform under tight deadlines to meet client goals
  • Work closely with the account team and other internal teams to understand and achieve client goals and objectives through the customization of projects
  • Proactively reports project status of the campaign to the account team and resolves conflicts in requests in order to meet changes in client priorities
  • Personal accountability and ownership of work becoming the subject matter expert for client reports, offering support to the project manager in client meetings and conference calls

Recommended Experience

  • Tenacity to learn the Search Engine Marketing industry and convey an understanding of VERB’s internal SEM process 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Search Engines (Yahoo, Google, Bing, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Pay per click and pay for placement techniques (Google AdWords, Yahoo Search Marketing Solutions, vertical specific engines, etc)
  • Motivated to research and keep up with ever-changing Search Engine standards
  • Previous search engine marketing experience is required
  • Computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • General understanding of HTML and the Internet required, however, this position is not a Web development role
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
  • Excellent writing skills and command of the English language
